Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries Company (Julphar) on Monday reported a slight increase of 0.94% in its profits for the second quarter of 2016.
The company posted AED 54.81 million ($14.92 million) net profits in Q2-16, compared to AED 54.3 million ($14.78 million) in the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Julphar's profits retreated 10.3% to AED 133.85 million in the six-month period of 2016 from AED 149.18 million in the year-ago period.
Biannual sales fell 7.7% to AED 759.69 million from AED 822.68 million.
