Kuwait – Mubasher: KAMCO Investment reported a jump of 1560% in net profits during the second quarter this year as compared to the same period of 2015.
Earnings surged to around 588,830 ($1.95 million) in Q2-16 from about KWD 35,470 ($117,490) in Q2-15, according to a bourse statement issued Monday.
During the first half of 2016, profits grew 40.5% to approximately KWD 723,980 versus about KWD 144,660 in H1-15.
The company clarified that the growth in profits resulted from higher fee income.
