Mubasher: KAMCO Investment reported a decline of 25.6% in profits during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings decreased to about KWD 437,990 ($1.45 million) in Q2-17 from approximately KWD 588,830 ($1.94 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
During the first six months of 2017, KAMCO posted a drop of 48.2% in profits to nearly KWD 375,360 from about KWD 723,980 in H1-16.
It is noteworthy that KAMCO recorded a surge of 111.6% in profits to about KWD 285,990 in Q1-17 from about KWD 135,150 in Q1-16.
At the stock level, KAMCO closed Thursday’s session 4.17% higher at 75 fils.
