KFIC to get KWD 1.95m on court ruling

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Finance and Investment (KFIC) said that the court of capital markets has ordered Arabian Capital Holding Company to pay KWD 1.95 million ($6.4 million) to KFIC.

Arabian Capital has filed a lawsuit against KFIC, claiming a repayment of KWD 2 million, the company said in a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.

The court ruling will have no financial impact in the current time, KFIC clarified.

On the stock level, KFIC ended Wednesday’s session higher with 1.5% to 34.5 fils, after about 48,830 shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 1,700.
