Kuwait – Mubasher: KGL Logistics on Monday announced a 6% growth in profits for the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same period in the year before.
Profits stood at KWD 1.95 million ($6.39 million) in Q1-17, compared to KWD 1.84 million ($6.03 million) in Q1-16, according to a filing to Boursa Kuwait.
The logistics company attributed the increase in profits to significant progress in industrial activity.
The Kuwaiti firm had previously reported a slight growth of 1.9% in profits reaching KWD 5.97 million in 2016, compared to KWD 5.86 million in 2015.
