Mubasher: Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) has asked for an additional budget of KWD 40 million ($132.21 million) from Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The additional budget would be used in the Al Khafji environmental project, which is being carried out in cooperation with Saudi Arabia, an informed source told Alanbaa newspaper.
The request was discussed during the KPC's board meeting held on Wednesday but no approval or rejection were given yet.
