Riyadh – Mubasher: Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) on Wednesday posted a 10.81% year-on-year jump in its net profits during the first quarter of 2018.
KHC posted a profit of SAR 143.04 million in Q1-18, compared to SAR 129.08 million during Q1-17, according to a bourse filing.
The firm attributed the growth in profits to a rise in other operating revenues, coupled with higher dividends income, and an increase in share of results from equity-accounted investees.
KHC’s revenues fell 22.5% to hit SAR 513 million in Q1-18, compared to SAR 662 million in the comparative period of 2017.
Shareholders’ equity after deducting the minority interest amounted to SAR 30,721 million in the first three-month period of 2018, compared to SAR 31,522 million in Q1-17, the statement added.
