Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries (KIMA) reported a growth in its profits for the fiscal year of 2015/16 in spite of the fourth quarter’s losses, according to a bourse filing.
In the fourth quarter (Q4), the company logged EGP 17.6 million losses against EGP 1.38 million profits for the year-ago quarter.
On annual basis, net profits after tax rose by 29% year-over-year to EGP 111.78 million from EGP 86.51 million.
During the first nine months, the company earned EGP 129.39 million, compared with EGP 85.13 million for the year-ago period.
