Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries (KIMA) reported an increase in the first nine-month period ended in 31 March 2016.
In a bourse filing, the company indicated that 9M net profits jumped 52% year-over-year to EGP129.39 million ($14.53 million) from EGP85.13 million ($9.6 million).
During the same period, the company registered EGP203 million in 9M sales, 13.6% down from EGP235 million for the year-ago period.
In the first half of 2015/16, net profits fell by 12% year-on-year to EGP25.6 million from EGP29.1 million.
