Mubasher: Kuwait Projects Holding (KIPCO) posted a decline of 29.3% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.
Earnings shrank to KWD 6.42 million ($21.25 million) in Q2-18 from KWD 9.08 million ($30.05 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
During the first half of 2018, KIPCO registered a drop of 14.8% in profits to KWD 12.06 million from KWD 14.15 million in H1-17.
The drop in H1 profits is attributed to a plunge in income from the media and real estate sectors.
