Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) will sign on Thursday an agreement for the largest banking facility in the history of Kuwait, according to an issued statement.
KNPC will ink a deal with Kuwait Finance House (KFH) and National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) to fund Kuwait’s Clean Fuel Project which has a cost of KWD 4.6 billion ($15.2 billion).
Consisting of traditional and local Islamic banks, Tier 1 will amount to KWD 900 million ($2.98 billion) of the consolidated loan portfolio, with a 10-year duration period.
