Mubasher: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded three contracts at a combined value of KWD 37.6 million ($125 million), sources told Al Anba newspaper.
The contracts entail supplying equipment for developmental exploration as well as constructing a new building for Al Ahmadi Services Group, they said.
The first contract, which pertains to oil well exploration, was divided into two parts, the first worth KWD 16.8 million, while the second is worth KWD 14.1 million, the sources explained, noting that under the deal, KOC will purchase materials from a UK firm via its Dubai unit and Delta Corporation Qatar.
As for the third contract, the sources said that it amounts to KWD 6.6 million and entails the establishment of a new building for Al Ahmadi Services Group. The award was made to First Performance for General Commerce and Construction.
