Mubasher: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) decided to award project contracts valued at KWD 67 million ($220.6 million) to international companies, sources said as reported by Al Anba Newspaper.
KOC was granted the Central Agency for Public Tenders’ approval to award a KWD 25 million tender contract to Schlumberger, the world's largest oilfield services company based in the US, Al Anba added.
Meanwhile, a tender contract worth KWD 3.7 million was awarded by KOC on Weatherford International, one of the largest multinational oil and natural gas service companies.
The tenders agency in Kuwait approved for KOC to award a number of other tender contracts to companies in the field of oil, Al Anba added.
