Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) said Tuesday that the oil spill which struck at its BWD-133 drilling rig was brought under control.
“The oil seeping is being handled, and neither affected the production operations nor inflicted any injuries,” the KOC’s official spokesman, Imad Al-Sultan, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Al-Sultan asserted that an investigation will be opened to determine the accident causes.
