KOC says putting out fire at oil driller

Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) stated on Wednesday that its fire-fighting teams are exerting continuous efforts to put out a fire that broke out on Tuesday at the crude oil driller in northern Kuwait, according to Kuwait News Agency.

Roads leading to northern regions and oil fields are safe, said KOC official spokesman Saad Rashed Al-Azmi.

He noted that the emitted gas was caused by putting out the blaze.

The Environmental Public Authority (EPA) said on Tuesday that the gases caused by the fire contained no hazardous elements.
