Mubasher: A financial support agreement worth $10 billion has been signed between the government of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait,
The agreement will support the funding requirements of Bahrain’s fiscal balance program, a comprehensive package of reforms adopted by the government of Bahrain that will secure its long term fiscal stability and eliminate the country’s budget deficit by 2022.
The agreement is in coordination with the Arab Monetary Fund as an advisory body, as reported by Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The cooperation agreement set out the funding framework within the $10 billion agreement, building on the solid base of collaboration between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
