Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi cement companies' sales fell 15.66% to 4.85 million tonnes in January from 5.75 million tonnes in the year-ago period, although Umm Al Qura Cement participated by 115,000 tonnes.
Moreover, production retreated 16.87% to 4.78 million tonnes in January compared to 5.74 million tonnes in the same period last year.
Inventories increased 26.34% to 1.12 million tonnes in January 2017 from 877,000 tonnes in January 2016.
