KSA closes reissue of October domestic sukuk, raising SAR 20bn

Riyadh- Mubasher: The Saudi finance ministry on Tuesday said that it closed reissue of the fourth domestic sukuk issue, firstly issued in October 2017 under the Saudi Arabian government SAR-denominated sukuk program.

The subscription applications for these sukuk stood at around SAR19.8 billion, while the size of the reissue was set at SAR 6.68 billion, resulting in 296% coverage ratio, brining October domestic sukuk issue to a total of SAR16.68 billion.

The additional sukuk issues were divided into three tranches as follows:

- The first tranche has a size of SAR1.05 billion and matures in 2022G.

- The second tranche has a size of SAR3.53 billion and matures in 2024G.

- The third tranche has a size of SAR2.1 billion and matures in 2027G.
