Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s crude oil output dropped by about 700 barrels per day (bpd) in September 2017, as the financial data of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries showed on Wednesday.
The country’s oil production retreated for the third month in a row to 9.975 million bpd, OPEC added in its monthly bulletin issued on Wednesday.
Total production of Saudi crude oil stood at 9.973 million bpd in September up from 9.951 million bpd in August, rising 21,700 bpd, OPED noted.
OPEC’s production grew by 88,500 bpd in September to 32.75 million barrels.
OPEC and its ten non-OPEC producers had previously agreed on extending oil output cut by 1.8 million bpd to March 2018.
