Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed on Tuesday in red for the sixth session in a row, amid low liquidity, continuing its downward trend since September.
The main index shed 0.69% or 45.26 points to stand at 6,470.82 points.
Turnover reached SAR 2.74 billion, which is the lowest daily liquidity traded since October.
The telecommunication sector was the worst performer decreasing 1.47%, on the back of Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), which was down 4.3% losing SAR 1.23 to mark its biggest decline in three months.
On the other hand, the insurance, media and real estate development sectors rose 0.4%, 0.33% and 0.14%, respectively.
On the stocks level, 131 shares dropped, while only 34 increased.
