Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia on Tuesday said it has intercepted a ballistic missile near the Saudi capital Riyadh which was shoot by Houthi rebels.
There are not reports of any damage after the attack, the local channel Al Ekhbariya reported.
"The Houthi movement's al-Masirah TV said rebel fighters had fired a Burkan-2 missile at the Yamama Palace," the BBC reported.
Last month, Yemen's Houthi rebels had fired a similar missile at Riyadh's airport.
The kingdom and the US have accused Iran of providing the Houthis with the missile, the charge that Tehran denied.
The Houthi movement has been fighting a war against Yemen's government and the Saudi-led coalition since 2015.
