Mubasher: The Saudi Embassy in Jordan has announced that new electronic visas will replace stamped versions for Jordanians visiting the kingdom, News Arabia reported.
Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Jordan, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, was given a detailed explanation regarding the online e-visa application procedure that will be considered for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, Arab news added.
“Prince Khalid thanked committee members for their explanation of the system that has already been inaugurated in several states and is due to be rolled out in other countries,” the news portal said.
This new electronic service will cut visa issuance times and boost services to pilgrims and visitors from Jordan.
“The Vision 2030 reform plan aims to attract more than 30 million Umrah pilgrims and provide them with top-class services and an outstanding experience,” according to Arab News.
