Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Finance (MoF) starts on Monday, 1 January 2018, applying new tariff on electricity prices, which was announced by the Electricity & Co-Generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA) on 12 December 2017.
ECRA distributed the new electricity tariff to six sections. The tariff includes an overhaul in power prices for the housing, commercial sectors, and the agricultural consumption.
The adjustment was also implemented for the tariffs of institutions, charity associations, private healthcare enterprises, institutes, and civil schools.
While electricity prices for the industrial and governmental consumption remained unchanged.
