Riyadh – Mubasher: The General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) reported a growth of 2.4% or SAR 68 million in Saudi Arabia’s non-petroleum exports to the GCC in April 2017 compared to the same month a year ago.
The Kingdom’s non-petroleum exports to the GCC increased to SAR 2.83 billion in April this year from SAR 2.77 billion in the corresponding month in the prior year, according to GaStat’s recent report.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has imported goods worth a total of SAR 3.9 billion from the GCC in April, 4% or SAR 151 million higher than SAR 3.8 billion in the same month a year ago.
The UAE was the top GCC importer from the Kingdom in April, with a total of SAR 1.4 billion, while Saudi Arabia has imported goods worth SAR 2.7 billion from the UAE.
The UAE was followed by Kuwait and Qatar in terms of importing Saudi goods worth SAR 502 million and SAR 432 million, respectively.
