KSA offers tender to buy 770,000 tonnes of wheat

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) announced its second tender for 2017 to purchase 770,000 tonnes of wheat for the period from August to October.

The tender is an extension of the Kingdom’s plan to cover the local demand of wheat to preserve its strategic inventory, according to a statement issued on the organisation’s website on Thursday.

The organisation noted that the first tender for this year, which was offered in March for the period from May to July, was awarded for a quantity of 730,000 tonnes.
