Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Grains Organization has announced offering its second tender in 2017 for importing an amount of 1.5 million tonnes of feed barley.
The import tender will take place from May to June 2017 to be transferred on 25 ships, the director general of the organisation, Ahmed Al Faris, said.
The tender is an extension of the Kingdom's plan to meet the domestic demand for feed barley and maintain its strategic reserves, he added.
Al Faris stated that around 24 international companies specialised in the field of grain trade were listed by the organisation to compete on the quantities offered.
