Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi trade surplus reached SAR 138 billion in 2017, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said on Thursday.
Total value of commodities and services exports increased 14.2% to SAR 860.05 billion in 2017, from SAR 753.2 billion a year earlier, the GASTAT added.
Saudi imports of goods and services rose 2.88%, reaching SAR 721.5 billion during 2017, compared to SAR 742.9 billion in the year earlier.
Year-on-year, the value of oil exports including refined products and natural gas levelled up 2.3% to SAR 614.3 billion in 2017, from SAR 510.7 billion.
The Saudi non-oil exports of goods weight down 0.14%, reaching SAR 177,6 billion in 2017, compared to SAR 177.8 billion in 2016.
The Kingdom’s exports of services grew 5.5% to SAR 68 million in 2017, from SAR 64.7 million in the year before.
