Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's aid for Yemen reached about $10.4 billion since May 2015 until January 2018.
Saudi humanitarian aid to Yemen amounted to $1.05 billion, while the mutual government's aid reached $2.3 billion, according to King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSRELIEF).
The Kingdom has handed over $3 billion to the Central Bank of Yemen.
On Sunday, 21 January the Saudi foreign affairs minister Adel Al-Jubeir stated that Houthi militias had intercepted more than 85 ships that carry humanitarian aid to Yemeni people.
Saudi Arabia and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries are preparing to launch a relief shipment to rescue Yemeni people.
