Mubasher: The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) on Sunday announced that Saudi Arabia has resumed pumping oil to Bahrain thanks to personnel efforts in both Bapco and Saudi Aramco.
Supplies will return to their normal levels soon, according to Bahrain News Agency.
Bapco affirmed its desire to provide all oil products in order to cover all of its strategic needs, noting that the company is working on gradually increasing its refining levels in partnership with Aramco.
The same time the Bahraini oil company will finish its needed repairs soon.
Previously, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced that it had controlled a fire that erupted in an oil pipeline near Buri village, 15 km from Bahrain’s capital, Manama, early morning on Saturday.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the incident was a deliberate act and not an accident, the ministry said in a statement.
Bapco is wholly owned by the Bahraini government, and mainly operates in refining, distributing, selling, and exporting crude oil and refined products.
