Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi oil exports increased 12% during the third quarter of 2017, compared to the year-ago period, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said on Monday.
The Kingdom’s oil exports hit SAR 149.4 billion in Q3-17, compared to SAR 133.4 billion in the same period a year earlier, the GASTAT added.
Oil exports represented 76.3% of Saudi Arabia's total exports that reached SAR 195.85 billion during Q3-17.
Quarter-on-quarter, the value of Kingdom’s oil exports grew 3.5%.
The Saudi merchandise exports went up 11.6% or SAR 20.4 billion, registering SAR 195.85 billion in Q3-17, compared to SAR 175.45 billion in the corresponding period in the year earlier.
The non-oil merchandise exports increased 10.4% or SAR 4.37 billion to SAR 46.44 billion during Q3-17, from SAR 42.07 billion.
Quarter-on-quarter, the non-oil exports rose 3.9% or SAR 1.75 billion.
