Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia's trade surplus jumped 33% or SAR 41.4 billion year-on-year during December 2017.
The kingdom’s exports, which comprise of oil and non-oil exports, amounted to SAR 80.7 billion last December, against imports worth SAR 39.3 billion, the General Authority for Statistics’ (GASTAT) data revealed.
Oil exports amounted to SAR 62.11 billion in the last month of 2017, compared to SAR 52.15 billion in the same month a year earlier.
Non-oil exports hit SAR 18.62 billion in December 2017 versus SAR 15.89 billion in the prior-year period.
Saudi imports decreased to SAR 39.3 billion in December against SAR 40.4 billion in the corresponding period the year before.
