Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Health, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, said his country is still in control of the coronavirus disease as it is witnessing a drop in the number of daily infections, the minister recently stated on his official Twitter account.
The minister attributed this success to the unlimited support received from the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, as well as the community’s awareness and commitment to precautions.
Recently, the kingdom has been chosen among the world’s safest travel destinations amid the pandemic, based on an article published on the Wego Travel Blog website under the name, "Safe Places to Travel During COVID-19 Pandemic."
The GCC nation was ranked the 6th globally and was the only country from the Middle East region to feature on the list.
Australia topped the list, followed by New Zealand, Singapore, Zambia, and Cuba.
