KSA to boost oil investments with US – Al-Falih

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia may increase its oil investments in the United States due to a more fossil fuel-oriented energy policy by the U.S. administration of President Donald Trump, KSA oil minister, Khalid Al-Falih told Reuters.

The minister added saying that Trump has good policies for oil sector, which should be acknowledged, noting that KSA has no problem regarding the natural growth of US oil supply, as long as it increase in line the global demand on energy.

"We had billions of dollars invested in refining and distribution in the United States and we may be increasing that investment on the back of pro-industry, pro-oil and gas policies of the Trump administration," Al-Falih added.

Earlier the oil minister pinpointed that the Kingdom continues to boost its production capacity to reach 12.5 million barrels per day.
