KSA to carry out SAR 1.1bn projects in Jeddah

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) on Sunday has signed a number of agreements for services projects at a value of SAR 1.1 billion, Saudi Gazette reported on Monday, citing Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying.

The deals aim to upgrade environmental services for about one million citizens.

The total number of contracts is 20, director general of Water in Makkah Muhammad Bin Saleh Al-Ghamdi stated.

Including the delivery of more than 16,000 sanitary drainage networks to homes, the projects are expected to be completed during one-and-a half year or two years.

Networks of sanitary drainage will be carried out in some regions in Saudi Arabia, such as Al-Safa, Al-Khaldia, Al-Ruwais, Al-Rehab, Al-Azizia, Al-Rawda, and Al-Andalus.
