KSE benchmark opens in red zone

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange on Monday morning inched down 0.09% or 5 points to settle at 5,801.46 points at 9:45 am Kuwait local time.

The weighted index rose 0.29% or 1.15 points to reach 394.89 points.

The Kuwait-15 index grew 0.54% or 5 points to approach 941.57 points.

Turnover amounted to KWD 2.42 million, after 24.6 million shares were traded through 488 transactions.

Gulf Petroleum Investment topped the winners with growth of 3.8%, while KAMCO led the decliners as it dropped 8.9%.

Securities Group was the most active stock as 6.61 million shares were exchanged through 85 deals, with value of about KWD 325,800. The stock rose 1%.

KFH recorded the highest traded value of nearly KWD 517,000 after 13 deals were traded through nearly 891,200 shares. The stock settled at 580 fils.
