Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Monday’s session with a rise of 0.45% or 24.54 points to reach 5,516.08 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up by 0.02% and 0.15% respectively.
The market’s liquidity grew by 32.3% to KWD 6.06 million, after trading volume increased by 52.2% to 86.81 million shares.
The consumer services sector topped eight gainers by a rise of 1.2% after Oula Fuel Marketing gained 8.8% to top the winners.
Both the technology and real estate sectors fell by 0.22% and 0.03% respectively.
Marakez led the losers by a drop of 7.8%.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active stock on which 10.51 million shares were traded through 76 transactions at a value of about KWD 363,080.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity that approached KWD 1.2 million after 2.5 million shares were exchanged through 39 transactions. The stock settled at 480 fils.
