Kuwait-Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) retreated by the end of Wednesday’s session.
The price index fell by 0.52% or 29 points to close at 5,409.17 points; the weighted index dropped 0.6% or 2.15 points to reach 354.27 points; Kuwait-15 index lost 0.7% or 5.77 points to 815.07 points.
KSE’s liquidity shrank by 11.5% to KWD 10.54 million, as trading volume decreased by 34% to 53.06 million shares.
The technology sector headed eight decliners by 2.5%, pushing the bourse into the red zone.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector topped three gainers by 1.34%.
Ajwan was the top winner by 9.6%, while Egypt Kuwait Holding led the losers by 8.33%.
Coast Investment and Development was the most active stock on which 6 million shares were traded.
Americana recorded the highest liquidity that stood at KWD 3.5 million.
