Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) dropped 0.33% or 18.8 points to close at 5,628.41 points on Monday.
The weighted index fell by 0.18% or 0.7 points to settle at 380.37 points.
Also, the Kuwait-15 index lost 0.32% or 2.9 points to fall to 897.78, the lowest level since April 2012.
KSE’s turnover rose 1% to KWD 8.38 million, as trading volume increased 1% to 113.75 million shares that were traded through 2,737 transactions.
The consumer goods sector topped the gainers by adding 1.24%, while the health care sector led the decliners as it decreased 1.13%.
Securities Group was the top winner by a growth of 10%, while Tahssilat led the losers with a drop of 10.1%.
GFH was the most active stock as 32.6 million shares were exchanged through 208 deals, with a value of about KWD 1.28 million; however, the stock retreated 6.1%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover for the third session in a row, achieving liquidity worth KWD 2.03 million, after 2.53 million shares were traded through 35 deals. The stock settled at 800 fils.
