Kuwait – Mubasher: All of the Kuwait Stock Exchange's (KSE) indices opened Monday's trading session in the negative territory.
The price index shed 0.13% to 5,499.94 points, while the weighted index and the Kuwait 15 index lost 0.5% and 0.67%, respectively.
Turnover reached KWD 482 million by 9:25am Kuwait time after 27.43 million shares changes hands through 481 transactions.
The banking sector led losers, falling 0.4%, pressured by Kuwait Finance House (KFH), which dropped 1.9%. The real estate sector declined 0.35% after Abyaar Real Estate and Investors Holding Group retreated 2.4% and 2.35%, respectively.
On the other hand, the insurance sector gained 0.4% after Wethaq Takaful Insurance jumped 7.9%. The oil and gas sector added 0.13% on the back of Gulf Petroleum Investment's (PetroGulf) 1.2% increase.
KSE indices ended Sunday on a mixed note, with the technology sector leading fallers and the services sector as the top gainer.
