Kuwait - Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended July on a mixed note, with the price index adding 1.6% or 86.41 points, and closing at 5450.98 points, compared to 5364.57 points in June.
The Kuwait 15 index levelled up 0.61% or 4.95 points and closed at 810.66 points.
On the other hand, the weighted index was down 0.2% or 0.72 points, closing at 350.72 points, against 351.44 points last month.
Traded volume shrank by 38.7% to 1.33 billion shares from 2.17 billion in June.
Likewise, total turnover declined 41.9% to KWD 131.6 million, compared to KWD 226.58 million in June.
Overall, KSE main index lost 2.9% or 164.14 points since the beginning of the year, after closing in the last session of 2015 at 5615.26 points.
