Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) gained 0.21% or 11.03 points to end Monday’s session at 5,341.52 points. The weighted index gained 0.14%.
Meanwhile, Kuwait-15 index levelled down 0.07%.
KSE’s trading value increased 28.3% to KWD 10.71 million after trading volume grew 4.8% to 81.62 million shares.
The oil and gas sector topped nine gainers with a rise of 1.7% in line with the 1.37% growth of PetroGulf.
The technology and real estate sectors were the only decliners with a fall of 0.55% and 0.22% respectively.
Aayan was the most active stock on which 7 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 195,000. The stock rose by 5.7% to reach 28 fils.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.9 million after 5.12 million shares were traded. The stock levelled up 2.7% to 385 fils.
