Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) inched down 0.08% or 4.11 points to close at 5,467.77 points on Sunday.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices dropped 0.21% and 0.36% respectively.
KSE’s turnover grew 37.3% to KWD 6.07 million in line with the 8.3% increase of trading volume to 51.4 million shares.
The oil and gas sector led six decliners by 2.5%, dragged by Napesco which lost 6.7% to rank the second loser.
Meanwhile, the healthcare sector topped five gainers by 0.8% on the back of Safwan which rose above 2%.
Noor was the most active stock on which 7.7 million shares were traded through 56 transactions at a value of about KWD 312,000. The stock closed at 40.5 fils.
Boubyan Bank recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 2.4 million after 6.3 million shares were exchanged. The stock fell 1.3% to 380 fils.
