Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait’s stock market ended Thursday falling; the price index was down 0.12% or 6.62 points to close at 5,428.91 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell 0.15% and 0.26% respectively.
KSE’s liquidity declined 3.1% to KWD 5.86 million as trading volume decreased 13.5% to 47.29 million shares.
The technology sector led five decliners by 0.9%, dragged by Osos which lost 1.92%.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped six gainers at close by 0.76%, on the back of Marine Services which gained 5.8% to rank the second winner.
Awj was the top winner by a rise of 6.06% to 70 fils, after 31,000 shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 2,170.
Agility recorded the highest turnover that reached KWD 1.16 million, as 2.47 million shares were traded. The stock closed at 470 fils.
Almal was the most active stock on which 4.37 million shares were exchanged through nearly KWD 92,460. The stock dropped 2.33% to 21 fils.
