KSE ends Wednesday on mixed note

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange finished Wednesday on a mixed note.

The price index gained 24.43 points or 0.44% to level up at the mark of 5,589.16 points.

Similarly, the weighted index edged 0.02% up.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait 15 fell in the red zone with a 0.3% slide.

Sector-wise, seven major markets ended the session in the green area, led by the telecom sector (+1.19%) on Zain (+3.7%).

The real estate and financial sectors were higher 1.01%, 0.84%, and respectively.

Likewise, the industrial sector rose 0.3% in spite a 7.4% decline in Maadan.

On the flipside, the technology and banking sectors decreased by 0.43% and 0.11%, respectively.

Turnover moved up to KWD 23.03 million compared with KWD 17.21 million a day earlier, while volume went up to 216.58 million shares from 183 million.
