Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s session at 5,284.87 points after rising 0.11% or 6 points.
The weighted index grew 0.27% to 367.53 points, similarly, KSX 15 rose by 0.39% or 3.41 points to 871.7 points.
Today’s trading value declined 28% to KWD 9.15 million, as trading volume decreased 4.7% to 152.61 million shares.
KSE’s telecom sector topped the gainers by 2.58% growth, backed by Viva as it gained 4.08%.
Meanwhile, the health care sector headed the decliners with a 2.24% drop, dragged by Yiaco Medical which lost 4.04%.
National Industries was the top winner with an 8.18% increase, while Kuwait Cable headed the losers after declining 9.26%.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active stock as 29.16 million shares were exchanged, with a value of KWD 1.05 million. The stock levelled up 7.35%.
