Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Monday in the green zone for the third session in a row, as the price index inched up 0.3% or 17.5 points to close at 5,773.68 points.
The weighted index inched up 0.5% or two points to reach 396.07 points. The Kuwiat-15 index grew by 0.47% or 4.4 points to close at 950.15 points.
Today’s turnover rose to KWD 24.41 million, as trading volume decreased to 138.03 million shares that were traded through 3,685 transactions.
The health care sector led the gainers by adding 1.07%, while the basic materials sector headed the decliners with a fall of 0.73%.
Al Qurain Holding was the top winner as it went up 15.38%, while Kout Food led the losers with 8.06%.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock, as 23.9 million shares were traded with a value of about KWD 765,000. The stock retreated 4.62%.
Viva stock recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 7 million, after 6.44 million shares were traded through 559 transactions. The stock rose by 2%.
