KSE in green at Thursday’s close

Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled up 0.30% or 16.02 points to end Thursday’s session at 5,429.41 points.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.2% and 0.08% respectively.

Liquidity increase 26.2% to KWD 7.18 million, as trading volume gained 33.8% to reach 66.83 million shares.

The oil and gas sector topped five gainers by a rise of 0.82%, while the telecom sector led five decliners by 0.81%.

Amwal topped the winners by a growth of 7.7%, while Al Arabi Holding was the top loser by a fall of 5.2% or 55 fils to 3 fils.

Coast was the most active stock on which 5.52 million shares were traded through 105 transactions at a value of about KWD 237,510. The stock rose 2.35%.

Americana recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 1.68 million through about 678,000 shares. The stock rose 0.81% to KWD 2.480.
