KSE in red zone at Tuesday’s close

Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) retreated 0.07% or 3.52 points to end Tuesday’s session at 5,283.59 points.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled down 0.02% and 2.6% respectively.

The telecom sector led seven decliners with 1.89%, dragged by Viva which lost 4.7%.

The banks sector fell 0.28% following the decline of Boubyan Bank with 2.6%.

Meanwhile, the insurance sector topped four gainers with a rise of 0.77%.

KSE’s trading value shrank 30.6% to KWD 9.7 million after trading volume decreased 29.3% to 54.3 million shares.

Ekttitab topped the winners with a growth of 7.6% to reach 35.5 fils after nearly 133,400 shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 4,300.

Muntazahat was the top loser with a drop of 6.7% to 70 fils, following the trading of 219,000 shares at a value of about KWD 15,400.
