Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait stock exchange (KSE) closed in green zone on Monday as the benchmark price index went up 0.08% or 4.11 points to close at 5,430.47 points.
The weighted index as well as the KSE15 index added 0.44% and 0.5% respectively.
The market turnover declined by around 5.4% to KWD 4.61 million compared with KWD 4.87 million in the previous session. Meanwhile, the market volume went up by 12.1% to 49.05 million shares compared with 43.77 million shares in the preceding session.
At the sectorial level, only four sector were advancers topped by the industrial and banking sectors that went up 1.06% and 0.32% respectively.
On other hand, each of oil& gas sector, financial sector and real estate sector eased 0.43%, 0.27% and 0.18% respectively.
Tahssilat was the main decliner as it slipped 6.9% to 34 Kuwaiti fils while Al Mudon International Real Estate was the top gainer as it surged 9.43%.
