Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (EGX) indices closed on mixed note on Wednesday as the benchmark index inched down 0.13% or 7.23 points to close at 5,390.79 points.
The weighted index slide 0.02%, while KSE15 added 0.07%.
The market trading value lost 22% to EGP 3.4 million compared with EGP 4.36 million in the previous session, while the trading volume declined 28.1% to 42.61 million shares.
At the sectorial level, five sectors were advancers topped by the technology one that added 0.76%, followed by the banking sector that went up 0.26%.
On the other side, the basic materials sectors led the declining sectors as it lost 3.08% followed by each of the real estate sector and gas& oil sector thus slide by 0.35% and 0.25% respectively.
Al Imtiaz Investments was the top gainer as it surged 6.5%, while Al Masaken was the main decliner as it slide 15.6% to 81 Kuwaiti fils.
